THE AVATAR STATE OF SPIRITUALITY (FIRE NATION)

Ruled by Fire lord Ozai, the Fire Nation in Avatar would be what you would call the Nazis if we're being European, or the Terrorists (if the terrorists were winning), the insurrectionists if we're being political. However, if we're being Christian they would simply be the World System. The fallen mentality that crept into the world slowly over the millenniums and created what we have today, a world where sin is legalised and morality is increasingly subjective. The Firelords agenda like the Anti-Christ is straightforward-world domination, and they'll do anything to get it. Wars, media propaganda (remember the stage play in Season 4?) And so on and so forth. The Fire Nation is an empire, and you're the one to step up against them.

Now let me level with you, we're a talented bunch, banded together we're a formidable front, but we're outnumbered. For every one Lecrae we've got there are a hundred Drakes. If we're gonna take back what's rightfully ours we've got to work with major help from the supernatural, use the one thing we've got that the Fire Nation doesn't, The Holy Spirit. But fighting fire with even more fire, you'll have doubts, like;

Q: What If I Step Out in Faith, and For Some Reason, God doesn't Show Up?
A: Elijah, The Fire Bender

Elijah was a prophet in a time similar to ours. The people had drifted from the Almighty God and run off with false gods under the leadership of someone I imagine to have been a pretty hot and devilish chick named Jezebel. Inevitably this caused a great big conflict resulting in an ultimate showdown similar to the time the unprepared Avatar came face to face with Fire lord Ozai (Dude was like this super skilled Hitler who could so bend fire, he could turn his hands and legs into a jet pack).

As expected, it was a mismatch. The sole Elijah against the 450 prophets of Baal. And what was it all about? Whose god would be able to rain down fire from the heavens, and prove once and for all to be the true God. Now people mostly perceive God as either one of two extremes. Some grumpy old superpower damming people to hell, or a lovey dovey being that wouldn't hurt a fly. Both wrong, God has many dynamics, and one of them is His desire to show off his glory (just look in the mirror, you'll see). God wasn't going to let Elijah talk this big game and decide to work in a mysterious way and not send fire down. So whilst the Prophets of Baal cut themselves and incanted fruitlessly, Elijah called and God answered with fire. Fire so hot even the stones upholding the altar caught fire. God wouldn't fall your hand talk less of His. If you show up for Him (for Him! Not because you want to cook indomie and gas has finished.) He will surely show up for you and answer by fire.

Avatar wins every time

Q: The Devils Quite Intimidating
A: Azula, The Thunder Bender

No there is no Azula in the Bible. She's straight out of the Avatar cinematic universe. Here's the deal, she's scary good at fire bending (and I say scary good with full emphasis on both the good and the scary) She could so bend fire, she transcended and began bending lightning too. She also had serious beef for the Avatar, for no other apparent reason than that it was in her nature to want him dead, just like the devil wants you stolen from, killed and destroyed. He goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour, Christ said and it sounds scary. But notice that the statement is a simile, he isnt actually a lion, and the adjective "roaring" qualifies the type of lion he is anyway (imagine a dog that's all bark and no bite, all it does is scare you into thinking he's dangerous, and letting you hurt yourself with fear, for fear hath torment sayeth John 4 vs 18). Azula was the same, talented yes, she'd been bending longer and with more intent than the avatar had. In the end it was her less talented brother Zuko that took her out. Because she was playing a losing game and Zuko had help, like we do, cos greater is He that is in you than she that is in the world.

Watch Out For Part Three: THE EARTH KINGDOM.
